I am a writer, translator, and editor from the UK.
I write and research about sociocultural history, with particular interests in social movements and countercultures, urban space and gentrification, and the performing and visual arts.
I am also currently a PhD candidate at Sophia University, Tokyo, working on a dissertation about mass and underground culture in postwar Japan during the high-growth period with a focus on visual culture and popular print media.
